I completely agree with the article. The benefits outweigh the risks for correcting your vision. There are contacts available on the market which provide the extra moisture to otherwise dry eye. I have the problem of having astigmatism in only one eye. So correcting astigmatism with my eyeglasses was not possible because it would cause me to have vertigo. With contacts, I am able to correct the astigmatism in one eye and myopia correction in the other eye.
Speak to your Opthamologist or Optometrist to see if contacts are right for you and your eyes.

I wouldn’t easily agree that contacts are the best solution for bad vision.

Contact lenses can be a huge culprit in having dry eyes. Dry eyes can occur when you don’t have a sufficient quantity of tears or if the composition of your tears is not correct. Contacts compound the problem by drawing the moisture from our eyes.

There are eye drops on the market that you could use but your eyes get used to them and then you can’t go without them. Your eyes become dependent on them.
Using contacts it’s like covering your eyeballs with plastic, so the eyes can’t breathe properly.

Think twice before starting using contacts.
